Where is the Modern Classic Wedding Held?
The Modern Classic is held at Mornington Yacht Club overlooking the harbour, just an hour from Melbourne CBD. Perfect to commute or make a stay of it.
What happens if the weather is inclement?
You will still be married on that day! The ceremony and reception are held in the Mornington Yacht Club. The deck is undercover but doors can be closed if need be. Photos in the rain are amazing, but if that's not your thing we have sheltered photo locations too!
Is the Modern Classic kid friendly?
Absolutely! We will even provide a complimentary kids corner to keep your littlest guests happy. The room and deck are fully enclosed to keep little legs from wandering. And, if that's not enough there are multiple start times to choose from to enable all your guests to be at their finest. Oh and kids under 6 are free!
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately this is not a dog friendly venue, but if it's a deal breaker please check out the Rustic Chapel Wedding OR Garden Party Wedding Packages as doggies are welcome there!
Is the venue wheelchair and accessible friendly?
Yes! There is a lift to transport guests up two flights of stairs. Once inside the yacht club there are no steps.
How many guests can we invite?
We include 30 of your dearest and nearest but you are welcome to add guests. We can accommodate up to 120 in the room and don't forget kids under 6 are free!
Can we include videography?
We have some fab relationships with some of the best local videographers. We are more than happy to arrange this for you. Videography starts from $2,200 depending on the coverage length.
What time does the Modern Classic start?
We have three unique packages for you to choose from: The Early Bird - 10am-12.30pm; The Afternoon Affair - 2-5pm and the Sunset Celebration 7-11pm
What are your payment terms?
We ask for an upfront 30% of your chosen package up front. This secures your date and your amazing collective of vendors. We then will work with you on a personalised payment schedule with regular payments. All investment is due 8 weeks out from your wedding.

What dates is this package available on?
The Modern Classic is always held the night before public holidays. We set these dates so that we can provide off-peak prices for premium services. Book a chat or email us to find a date that suits you.
We are having a bridal party, can we order more flowers?
Yes of course. We will give you a list of commonly asked for extras and let you decide what you may need. And extra buttonhole, or cake flowers, or a welcome cocktail!
